I just have to say that I get really lucky with the people who choose me as their photographer. I get to meet some really awesome people. I love people who are kind, laid back and easy to converse with. This family was all that and more. They were kind enough to show me their wedding album which was gorgeous. Anyone who has a themed wedding is pretty cool in my book (1920s/Great Gatsby!) Plus, we bonded over Taylor Swift.
Their baby girl is Corinthia and I love that name so much! I had never heard of it before. She was a November baby so of course we went all out on Christmas/Winter themes. I wanted to try a couple new things like little earmuffs on her (that I actually handmade) and a little cup of fake hot cocoa.
I love getting to try new things in sessions because this is my creative outlet. On top of that, I get to provide my clients with images that aren't going to look just like everyone else's.
Corinthia did so well for the session! She wanted to be wide awake at first but when she fell asleep, she stayed that way throughout the session and that allowed me to do a lot of different scenes with her.
I am very thankful to this and every family that allow me into their homes and trust me with their babies. This is my passion, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
P.s. If you didn't know, I travel all around the St. Louis and Jefferson County Missouri areas for sessions in people's homes or outside. There are also a couple studios in St. Louis I rent out when needed. If you aren't sure if I'll come to you, reach out and let me know where you're located!
And of course, enjoy some images from Corinthia's session....
