I just have to say that I absolutely love being able to serve people in their homes! Every family that chooses an in-home session is so glad they did so. I have to be honest, when I first started my business, I wondered what I could do to really cater to people and stand out. What better way than to make sure that the parents can just completely relax.
I don't put a time limit on in home sessions so if siblings aren't cooperating, we have some wiggle room to let them chill out and try again. The extra time also helps in cases of needing diaper changes or feedings. I've also been able to incorporate things into the sessions from people's homes that they would not have thought to use so it really personalizes it for them.
I bring everything needed for the session for baby such as lighting, backdrops, props, swaddles, hats, headbands etc.
Parents get to go about their business when family photos are over which could mean making lunch, checking emails, doing laundry, or even just taking a nap, or sitting down and doing nothing for once.
I just really love what I do and feel blessed to have the talent and opportunity to capture images of the beginning of a baby's life!
