You are expecting, or your little one has arrived and you're wondering how to go about having a newborn session done. First of all, congratulations! Second, don't worry because I got you!
I aim to photograph newborns within the first month of birth and ideally the first 2 weeks if possible. For that reason, most people secure their spot with me while they are expecting. I take a limited number of sessions per month and securing your spot means when you reach out after baby arrives, I guarantee I'll have at least a few different time options available just for you. To do this, you would sign a contract and pay the session fee. The session fee for just baby is $175. The session fee for baby and family is $200.

Occasionally, I'm able to squeeze in additional sessions or I may have had a cancellation, so for that reason I encourage people to still reach out if they had not previously secured a spot and their baby has already arrived.
The session can take place in your home or in studio (Benton Park). Either way, I provide everything needed for the session for baby such as, backdrops, lighting, props, swaddles, headbands, bonnets, hats, etc. All you need to worry about is making sure baby is changed and fed before the session, and your outfits if your family is being photographed. We will discuss prop options and color preferences beforehand so that I can customize the session to your liking.
Newborn sessions can take a while since I do several setups and often times babies can wiggle out of position when I'm posing them. They may need extra feedings, diaper changes and soothing. Typically, the session can go anywhere from 90 minutes- 3 hours. I aim to photograph the family portion first so that you and or the siblings can get it out of the way and go about doing whatever you want.
About a week after your session is when you will get to view your images. I can set up an in-person appointment with you to view print samples or you can view your gallery online. Prints and or digital images are chosen and paid for at that time. Print products are delivered to you within 2 weeks and digital images you will receive within a week. You may build a collection or choose ala carte. Collections start at $970.
