Oh sweet Christopher...
He has come into a loving family that's for sure. He has 2 older siblings that were very sweet and gentle with him. When I arrived, it had been a bit of a long drive for me but I didn't mind (more time to jam out to music) . I started getting set up in this family's home and Christopher's sister was very interested in what was going on. We became besties quick. I wanted to start with baby alone in this situation and big sis was not too happy with that. She watched patiently and when it was her turn to be involved she sure did shine. His older brother being a senior in high school, I'm sure will be a great protector and caretaker for him. Christopher made my job easy so, we got what we wanted and a little more.
Wonder what goes into an in home newborn photo session?
It takes about 15- 20 minutes for me to set up and we will chat and I'll get to know the kids if I don't already. The session itself can take 90 minutes up to 4 hours (long I know!). I take extra care to move baby slowly as to not disturb them and make sure they are safe in every pose. Sometimes babies move out of the pose I want and I try again or they won't do the pose at all and I have to move on to a new setup which could take time to put together. Sometimes they wake for a feed or diaper change. The baby runs the show so we take as long as needed to ensure a beautiful outcome.
After the session we set up a time for an ordering appointment where you will see and order your images. You can build a collection consisting of prints and digitals or you may choose to do ala carte. Digitals are sent via an online gallery within 10 days of your ordering appointment. Prints are delivered within 2 weeks.
