First of all, I have to say that coming into this family's home, I immediately felt at home. Mom and Dad are super sweet and interesting to talk to. Their home is full of vibrant colors (which I love) and gorgeous artwork by mom. Their sweet puppy was adorable and very well behaved.
David being 3 weeks old was very alert for most of the session. He did drift off to sleep after a while of brushing his hair. Every baby is different. For some they just need white noise. Some babies like to be rocked. Some like to be bounced. David just wanted his hair brushed (with this amazing silicone little thing.. no wonder it felt amazing). He did also happen to be in a cluster feeding stage which was totally fine. I always say the baby runs the show. I'd rather stop and have their needs taken care of than to keep trying and getting nowhere.
We went with a blue and green theme with each set being monochromatic. It's a look I've been wanting to try, and I am so happy with the results.
Today was their reveal/ordering appointment. If you didn't know, I come back to you to show you your images and help you through the ordering process. I can't tell you how many times I've heard of people either never making prints out of their digitals, or they do and they don't come out right. I've carefully selected a wonderful printing lab (only available to professional photographers). Let me take care of it all and provide you with perfect artwork!
I can't wait to see these images in print. If you are looking for an in home newborn photographer in the St. Louis area, reach out while you are expecting to guarantee availability.
