I was lucky to photograph his mama's maternity photos. Now here Owen is at 9 days old looking like a little doll! This family welcomed me into their home to capture these sweet images. I'm thankful to have met them and glad I got to spend so much time around people who have such a calming and loving energy. Owen was not a fan of sleeping and posing this day but after spending 3 and a half hours with them we got some beautiful images. Patience is key during a newborn session!
Every baby is different and likes different positions.
I want to remind you all that I will never put a baby in a pose they don't want to do. We did try for some naked poses but he was not having it so after trying twice we gave up and went back to the swaddle wrap. When he was swaddled he was happiest.
