I've been friends with Kylo's mom for over 20 years. Getting to photograph their sweet family made me ecstatic. I end up becoming friends with most clients but there is something extra special about getting to photograph for someone you've known most of your life.
Let me tell you about Kylo's session! His parents did not realize just how much stuff I bring with me and probably thought I was about to move in. Kylo had eaten before we started but of course he wanted more by the time I was set up and ready to go. He really loved his milk and snuggles so it was hard getting this boy to want to be photographed. I was determined though!
I ended up doing 9 setups with him alone and then some sibling images. This was one of those 4-hour sessions! Of course, I didn't mind at all, but I was totally exhausted by the end. I always tell everyone I don't need to go to a gym because my job is my work out!
I look forward to watching him grow (I'm lucky to get to babysit sometimes!) He is already 4 months, so I think we need another photo session in a couple months. I also need to catch up on blogging more!
