Holiday Family Photography | St. Louis - Missouri

It’s that time to start thinking about holiday photos! At Moments to Cherish Portrait photography, we hold a Santa event every year. For 2 days we offer Santa sessions in addition to family photos. We have our regulars who wouldn’t miss it for the world and then there’s those who have not been able to get a spot. Every year as kids grow up and no longer want to participate, we are able to accept new families for these sessions! We like to start spreading the world and booking early. Typically booking starts in July but this year we just started a few days ago so there’s still time to grab a spot! Dates are November 21st & 22nd 2026.

The Santa Session experience

Santa has been doing this for ever 20 years, and we have personally been working with him for about 16 years. He is so good with the kids and about knowing what poses we want without us even having to say anything most the time. It becomes a truly immersive experience where the kids feel like they are just hanging out with Santa and getting one on one time. He listens to them, reads to them, tells stories, cracks jokes and shows interest in each individual kid as a person and makes them feel seen. This session is so much more than a quick sit on Santa’s lap and smile for the camera. We capture many different poses along with different expressions. What you get is memories to truly cherish and last a lifetime.

The session is 30 minutes long and includes images with and without Santa along with family images if you choose. 2 setups are included also so you get a session full of variety. Your children may bring special items to include in the session if they would like and we’ve even had families who did an outfit change (you’ll want to be quick to avoid missing precious session time)
